Finalist
The i4 Competition challenges teams to design innovative solutions to pressing healthcare problems. Advancing as a finalist gave us a fantastic platform to showcase the KAIRS sleeve on a large stage. We were honored to share our vision with a panel of seasoned judges, whose invaluable feedback continues to shape our hardware design and real-time adaptive training algorithms.
WolfDen Competition
$1,000 Second Place Winner
Modeled after 'Shark Tank', the WolfDen Competition allowed us to pitch KAIRS to real-world investors and entrepreneurial leaders. Walking away with the $1,000 Second Place prize was an exhilarating experience for the whole team. It was a proud moment to see our passion for accessible, data-driven physical therapy resonate so strongly with experienced venture judges.
VenturePack Challenge
$12,000 Grand Prize Winner
KAIRS was profoundly honored to be selected as a top winner in NC State's VenturePack Challenge, securing $12,000 in early-stage funding. Pitching our technology on such a prestigious stage was unforgettable. This vital recognition and financial support directly fuel our ability to manufacture our smart wearable technology and scale our impact.

In addition to the main prize at the VenturePack Challenge, our team was deeply humbled to receive the $500 Audience Choice Award. Medtronic/BMES Student Design Competition
Second Place / Finalist
The Biomedical Engineering Society (BMES) and Medtronic partnered to challenge students to innovate the next generation of medical devices. Being named a Finalist and taking Second Place within the track of "AI/ML Related to Orthopedic and Sports Injuries" was a defining early victory for KAIRS. Presenting our foundational prototype to biomedical industry leaders reinforced our technical direction and solidified our dedication to wearable medical tech.
